Photography — Words of Wisdom

Here at 4 Ever Shooting, my goal is to not only to share, but to also grow with my photography.  With every image I take,  I am one step closer to furthering my knowledge and experience.

Below are some words of wisdom from those who have traveled this journey before me, who also share the passion,  and who’s words  have helped me see the excitement in it all.

“Photography, as a powerful medium of expression and communications, offers an infinite variety of perception, interpretation and execution.”Ansel Adams

“The essential things in life are seen, not with the eyes but with the heart.” – St. Exupery.

“The most important thing… is not clicking the shutter… it is clicking with the subject.” ~ Alfred Eisenstaedt

Photography is, for me, a spontaneous impulse coming from an ever attentive eye which captures the moment and its eternity.” – Henri Cartier-Bresson

The creative act lasts but a brief moment, a lightning instant of give-and-take, just long enough for you to level the camera and to trap the fleeting prey in your little box.” -Henri Cartier-Bresson

Ultimately, my hope is to amaze myself. The anticipation of discovering new possibilities becomes my greatest joy.” Jerry Uelsmann

You don’t take a photograph, you make it. -Ansel Adams
